Note: “One-off charges” includes the standard fee of CNY 300/ Line of installation & testing fee and CNY 10/ Line of handling fee.

If there are not enough broadband resources in the vicinity of the customer's address to support the chosen speed of broadband connection, the broadband connection may be adjusted to actual maximum speed available.

Special Offer

1. Customers who apply for 100 Mbps broadband service of 1-year/ 2-year term between July 1 and December 31 are offered free upgrade of upstream and downstream to 20 Mbps and 200 Mbps respectively.

2. 100 Mbps broadband customers who commit a 2- year service contract are offered 1 line 4K IPTV free of charge. Service termination prior to contract expiry is liable to pre-mature service termination penalty of CNY 280.


No fee is charged in the month of service commencement.
Package is effective on the 1st day of the month following service activation.


CNY 200 (Fully refunded upon return of network equipment and receipt for deposit ).

Contract period

Option 1: At the time of application, make a one-time payment of all service fees and deposit at sales outlets.
Option 2: Account top-up after the broadband connection is set up. Purchase China Telecom top-up cards to the amount of package fee plus deposit and then dial 11888 ( press 2 for English) to top up the pre-paid broadband account.

Penalty for pre-mature contract termination

One-year package : 2 X Basic Monthly Fee
Two-year package: 4 X Basic Monthly Fee
Customers who have enjoyed waivers of one-off charges are obliged to reimburse China Telecom Shanghai in full for the said waivers.


Scanned copy of the registered customer’s passport/ID card and a photograph of the registered customer holding his/her passport/ID card to compile with the State’s policy on real name registration.
